I updated to W7 and again, sound system was perfect. ![]() I have also subsequently gone to Dell support (my PC) which is seven years old and had Sound Card preinstalled - the automated support comes back: Dell (for this product) does not support W10 but does for XP and Win 2000 but Dell preloaded with Vista (which ![]() Now with Windows 10 - when I click on the (Sound Blaster) Creative Sound Console app I get "ensure the product is properly installed before running the Setup program" and "Setup unable to detect a supported product on your system" ![]() Finally - successfully upgraded to W10 (after days of incorrect messages being received in "Windows Update"īefore Windows 10 - I was on Win 8.1, my sound worked, but I had to go to the (Sound Blaster) X-Fi XtremeMusic - Creative Sound Console app and then clicked on the "Default button" - I got the sound going again but every time I shut down I had to repeat
